You will have to check with the institute which offer admission in MPH, as different institutes have different eligibility criteria for admission into their MPH courses. Please refer to the link provided below for a list of colleges which offer admission into MPH, and their eligibility criterias:

Hi,
You can apply after BDS but different universities have different requirements so please check university websites. To apply to MPH programs you must apply via the online portal ' Schools of Public Health Application Service (SOPHAS) application'. Please check the SOPHAS website. Also you must take GMAT or GRE and TOEFL to be eligible for admissions.

Some universities will ask for significant work experience, you must also take the GRE and TOEFL. Different universities have different requirements so please check the university websites.

The scope of Public Health is dynamic and ever changing and in coming decades there will always be need of public health professionals. The government schemes such as National Health Mission, Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karykram, etc. requires lot's of trained public health professional so we can assume there will be a number of contractual jobs and few permanent jobs.
