70% faculty at Institute of Public Health and Hygiene are doctor and 30 faculty members are Phd holder. Most of faculty members are pass out from top colleges of India. More than 5 faculty members has more than 20 years of teaching experience. Around 10 faculty has more than 10 year of teaching experience. Overall faculty are highly qualified and their method of teaching is also good.

The entrance exam for the MPH program at NIMHANS Bangalore is scheduled to be held on May 25-26, 2024. The exam is part of the NIMHANS Entrance Test for PG and PhD courses.
To be eligible for the MPH program, candidates must have a Master's degree in the relevant field. The qualifying percentage in the entrance exam is the same for UR, SC, ST and OBC categories.
After the entrance exam, shortlisting of candidates for NIMHANS Bangalore admissions is based on the scores obtained in the exam and performance in interviews.
