Hi Stanzin,
You can apply for BE/ B.Tech in colleges approved by AICTE.
1. While filling the form online/ offline, you have to choose the colleges' priority wise.
2. University will declare the combine merit list and you will get admission as per your merit number for particular university/ college.
3. If you will get admission, then you have to pay the fees.

Not good idea, because the college should have good decent brand reputation and Accreditation so that Placements are well suitable which is not in this case.

Hello Rahul,
Presently NIT, Jalandhar is not considered a top college. Due to this, opening as well as closing ranks are quite relaxed. I feel that the minimum marks would be 200+. But may I ask why are you asking the minimum marks? You should dream of getting into IIT and that too of your choice. Once you have a dream, you should surely work towards it.

The best colleges in Punjab are Chandigarh University, PEC-Punjab, Lovely Professional University, Thapar University and CGC-Landran.
