Film and Mass Communication, Hamidia Girls Degree College, Allahabad University, U P Rajarshi Tandon Open University, etc. Are some of the colleges/university that offer training in radio jockey. As per my advice, if you are looking to make a good career in the field of radio jockey, then it will be better to pursue the related course from a good and reputed college/institute. You can also go for full time 3 year under graduate programme of mass communication and journalism.

With modern introduction of instrument and technology, the digital media if offering more money without any doubt. If you have good editing and filmmaking or production experience then it will also help you. Photography has been always a money making career, but demands lots of hard work. Post Graduate Diploma in Television and Radio Journalism/Production at AIMC is one year of duration full time program. This course aims to provide an integrated overview of television and radio journalism/ production. More emphasis is given on the art and craft of audio-visual world.
Eligibility: Bachelors degree or equivalent from a recognized university. Those appearing in their final year also eligible to apply.
Preference will be given to those who have an aptitude for writing and creative imagination, communication skills or interest in managing events.

There are no colleges, which offer a degree course for RJ. You may pursue short-term courses which makes you learn a lot. Along with that, you don't have to appear for an entrance exam for the same.

Radio jockeying is a talent-based field. Even though no formal educational qualification is required, a degree or at least plus two is generally a pre requisite. The most essential factor for a radio jockey is a good voice with the ability to modulate as per the occasion.

Radio Jockeying is a rising field and there are hundreds of Radio Stations by private media houses coming up in small cities all around India. Even abroad the scope is on the rise. I relate my answer more to the Indian landscape, consider the following: If the CC is done after doing graduation then a Post-Graduation in Mass Communication/Mass Media/Media Production can also be done. I shall not hesitate to suggest even a Master Degree in A Language- English, Hindi or the one you see as your preferred medium of a Radio career. The fees for the certificate course is Rs. 5000 for one month course.

See, follow your dreams and make a dare move. If you are serious in RJ it is a good field. But think a minute before taking a step in RJ and have a back up plan and see are you really capable to do it, if yes, proceed on to RJ rather than commerce or else go to commerce.
