Radio Jockeying can be a fullt-time or a part-time job. Full-time RJs usually work with popular FM stations and host daily shows. However, part-time RJs or freelance RJs may work only on specific time slots, host weekend shows, or perform on internet radio platforms. Some part-time radio jockey jobs also include podcasting and event hosting.

There is no one fixed eligibility academic requirements to become a radio jockey. However, a degree or Diploma in mass communication, journalism, or media helps become a radio jockey. Many RJs also take short-term certification courses in voice training, anchoring, or radio production to land a job quickly.
Apart from these requirements, having a practice experience in the field often matters more than formal education.

To become a successful radio jockey, one must have excellent communication skills, clear voice, quick tinking skills, engaging voice, and a good sense humor. Additionally, voice modulation, diction, and the ability to adapt to different situation and/or topics also help become a successful radio jockey.
Creativity and spontaneity helps keep the audience coming back to the show. Besides, haing a strong command over the language and confidence while speaking also plays a major role.

A radio jockey hosts radio shows and entertains his/her listeners by playing music, discussing trending topics, and sharing stories. Besides these, radio jockeys also take live calls, answer listener queries, and play quizes. They build their unique on-air personality.
Some RJs are even involved in scripting, editing, and coordinating with their programming team. Simply put, a radio jockey keeps the audience engaged and coming back to the show.

Sorry, it's difficult. Admission to Rajarshi Shahu Junior College (RJ) or similar institutions for an IT-related course may depend on their specific eligibility criteria, which often include minimum aggregate marks in Class 12. With 54% overall in Science and 45% in PCMB, your chances may be limited if the college has a higher cutoff for IT courses. However, some colleges do offer admissions based on relaxed criteria or on a first-come, first-served basis, particularly for Diploma or vocational IT programs.
