No sir, it is not as complicated as you think-
Candidate completed graduation from any recognized university are eligible to apply.
Interested candidates can apply directly to the college.
Highlights:
The course curriculum comprises of 5 months of teaching and 2 months of internship.
The focus would be on the writing and presentation of live compering for radio, voice modulation and compering for various genres.

As such, no formal qualification is required, but some basic/minimum qualification is required to become an RJ, as this job needs excellent communication skills. Recently, some government and private institutes started certificate/Diploma/courses in Radio Jockey. One can get qualification from these institutes to procure formal degree to have some extra exposure to/of industry. And for these Diplomas and degrees, one must complete his or her 10+2.

It is a part-time course of 4 weeks. You can apply to the university directly for admission through offline/online mode.

Radio Jockeying is a talent based field. Even though no formal educational qualification is required, a degree or at least plus two is generally a pre requisite. The most essential factor for a Radio Jockey is a good voice with the ability to modulate as per the occasion. Apart from that, an RJ should have a clear diction, accurate pronunciation, flare and fluency in the language.
