In 2023, the minimum CMAT percentile was 75 for BIT Mesra MBA for the general all-India category candidates. This cutoff is applicable for the General category candidates. Candidates with this much percentile have a good chance of selection. Further, this may change, as the cutoff depends upon various dynamic factors, such as the number of candidates, the highest score, seat availability, etc.

Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra is ranked 53 among the top institutes by NIRF in 2023 rankings under the “Engineering” category. Additionally, the institute also provides placement support to the candidates. As per a consolidated placement report, a total of 982 job offers were made. Students are required to submit these documents listed below while filling out the application form:
- Recent passport size photograph
- Marksheet for qualifying degree of final semester/ final year (seventh semester/ pre-final year marksheet for the ‘appearing candidates' whose final semester/ final year results are pending)
- Qualifying MTech degree marksheet of final semester/ final year fourth semester/ pre-final year marksheet for the ‘appearing candidates’ whose final semester / final year results are pending)
- Valid GATE scorecard (as indicated in the application form for GATE candidates)
- Caste certificate/ EWS incom

Check below the application steps for all IIIT Ranchi courses:
For BTech, candidates need to apply for JEE Main followed by JoSAA Counselling. The application fee for boys is INR 625 and for girls, it is INR 325. Read more
For MTech, aspirants need to pass GATE. The application fee for boys is INR 1,500 and for girls, it is INR 750
For PhD:
Visit the official website, https://iiitranchi.ac.in/
Fill out the application form. The application fee for UR/ EWS/ OBC candidates is INR 1,000 and for SC/ ST/ PC/ women candidates, it is INR 500.
Pay the fee and upload the requisite documents.

The total tuition fee at IIM Ranchi for IPM is INR 15.48 Lacs divided equally in 9 installments. In addition to tuition fee, students also have to make following one time payments:

Yes, you can take admission in Usha Martin University and pursue BTech. The candidates who have completed Class 12 with PCM are eligible for BTech. B.Tech course includes BTech Mining, BTech Mechanical, BTech (LE) Admission and BTech at CSE.
