As of the first year, students must give importance to maintain a food CGPA. also, they should work on research papers, it will add to their achievements in the latter part of their college life. Utilize the college e-library for accessing to published research papers.

No, for now, there is no seat reservation in Amity University. However, there is some relief given to SC/ST as per the government policies. Basic Admission Criteria is Merit-based, Entrance-based. The Application Mode is both Online and Offline. The name of Entrances are (for B.Tech): Amity JEE/JEE Main
(for MBA): CAT/MAT/CMAT

Yes, Amity Ranchi is accepting applications for 50+ courses. The admission process is merit-based and calls for a minimum of 55% of the total marks in the appropriate courses in the 10+2 grade. The admission packs cost INR 1,100. The selection process includes a written test, counseling, and an interview.

If a student scores less then requires to pass the internals, they'll have to clear their back paper by filling up a form and paying the re-examination fee of 1500 rs. Also, back paper won't be mentioned in the final result unless there's a back paper in the final semester.

Based on the credit scored by a student in two consecutive semesters CGPA is calculated for the final semester. For example, the scores for 1st and 2nd semester will decide the CGPA for 1st year. The formula used  to determine CGPA = (grade points earned in a course during the program's last two semesters X credit)/total credits earned during those semesters.

The student will first have to submit an application stating the reason behind their absence in the exam to their respective HODs, HOD will forward the application to the examination department and the examination department will take the appropriate action.
