Robotics and automation engineering is new in this college and it will take nearly 3-4 years to adjust it's course content properly and faculty. Robotics and automation is highly technical and need good faculty. I will suggest you to go for other options if you want good job in near future. If you want to go for higher studies in this branch, then you can opt this course as this course will only provide you basic I think so. Also, I don't think placement will start immediately, it will take time. Hi Kiran,
For robotics, both mechanical and electronics are required. So, you can choose either of them. But prefer to choose a branch in which you are interested and already have some knowledge.
