Rishabh33155, The quality of the course varies from college to college as it depends upon a lot of constraints. Talking about IIIT Allahabad, here M.tech in Robotics is quite a decent branch as the course structure, faculty, labs and facilities are pretty good. Though the first batch of the course hasn't sit for the placements yet but since their placements will also happen along with the B.tech students only, so you may assume that it'll be decent as well. So, overall, this course is a good one to opt for.

M.tech in robotics is a good course as far as job opportunities are concerned. National instruments and Texas instruments are the most sought after employers who pick up a major chunk of the course.

Day by day as technology is advancing so trained manpower demand is increasing. similar due to a boom in electronics and computer automation n instrumentation is also increasing. so there it will increase the trained manpower in robotics also. Ya not boom but it is increasing with a slow rate.
