Marketing has more scope and opportunities in comparison to IT for MBA graduates because marketing graduates can be employed by all type of industries.

Opting for MBA in marketing is a good option.
It is not compulsory that you must have the experience in the marketing field to pursue the course.
But it would be an added advantage for you to have an experience because it will help you to understand the concepts being taught in the college and will ensure a good placement.

You should opt for marketing. It has better scope than finance.

Dual would be a deadly combo. Although both are equally good and you should go according to your area of interest.

There are wonderful opportunities into social media analytics and digital planning. Many jobs and good competitive salaries have been offered too.

You can get jobs in sales and marketing, campaigns management, digital marketing, social media analytics and advertising and media planning.

In India, a degree course for digital marketing specifically is not available. However, you can learn certificate courses from Digital Vidya or AIMA.

Now, you cannot give. You can apply for CAT 2017 only because CAT 2016 dates are out, you cannot prepare now.

According to me, finance and marketing are the best options for you. You can even go for dual specialization with both branches.
