As far as the scope of SAP is concerned it is one of the most popular and in demand courses and SAP consultants are highly paid. So, you definitely can go ahead, but I would also like to add here that SAP is quite an expensive course and if you are planning to invest you should opt for an Authorized Institute.

There are various SAP courses available through authorized SAP vendors like ATOS, Genovate, Invenio Business Solutions, BPCL, NIIT. There is no eligibility for doing SAP course except that you understand English and have a sound knowledge of business process of SAP module that you are trained in.
