Hi,
Can't really say if you can get the best scholarships but having a very good SAT score will keep you in the list of potential scholarship holders. The university will consider applicants on the basis of merit, which is good academic standing, SAT scores and extracurricular activities. As per new SAT a good score is 1450 or more.

Hi Divyansh,
SAT is an online test. There are test centers across the world including India. You must also pay a scheduling fee for it.

The chances of getting scholarship depend on your overall profile. You can try for scholarship, but it is entirely on the university's discretion, whether to offer scholarship or not.

You can appear for SAT exam and submit your applications for the intakes starting from the next year. This is the admission process to be followed, you must submit your applications a year ahead.

Yes, in such cases, the student must be academically very strong but he must demonstrate interests and hobbies outside academics. The SOP must be very good, even the reference letters will carry a lot of weightage. Intelligently, draft your application and apply early.

Hi Shikha,
You can register for the tests online. They have their respective websites for the same. But I am a little confused here. You can take your CAT only after you complete your bachelors degree . On the other hand SAT is taken by 10+2 students to pursue their bachelors degree studies abroad. So you cannot take both the tests together anyways. Refer to these links

Hi,
If there is no counselor at your school, you can name your school principal or any other school official, who has overseen or evaluated your academic progress throughout. This same person will be required to complete the school report on the recommenders and FERPA section.

Hi Trineer,
SAT is not compulsory and admission requirement depends on the country and universities. Mostly, it is required if you want to study in USA. If you want scholarship and a good university then you must have good scores, a good SAT and extracurriculars.
I did not get the total cost part, are you asking about tuition fee or SAT fee?

Firstly, you need to decide where you want to study. You can definitely study your Bachelor's in engineering but you need to decide where since every country and universities have their own admission requirements. Because you are an international student you must take TOEFL or IELTS. It is also very important that you have good grades.

Hi Thushar,
Your SAT score is pretty good. However, your complete profile has to be assessed like your extra activities, your statement of purpose etc. to get into an IVY League School.
