The placements at VIT are way much good compared to all the other colleges. The college and faculty are preparing all the students to get placed in all of the leading companies. VIT has also set a record for placing the most number of students in a single year. The placements are good, and the salary packages are nice. We know about the dream and super dream companies. Dream company means it offers more than 10 lakhs per annum, and super dream company means it offers 30 lakhs per annum. The employment opportunities are growing. You can take up jobs in the production industry, tourism, the service industry or healthcare as well. In addition you can work as a nutrition consultant or a research analyst. Most opportunities lie in the non-governmental organizations for graduates. Teaching is another lucrative option available. A degree also opens up vistas for self-employment like starting their own school, interior design and fashion boutiques.

In India, forensics is an emerging field but outside India, it's well established and forensic professionals earn good money if opted for as a career. Please refer to the link provided below for colleges which offer Bachelors of Science in Forensic Science abroad, and eligibility criteria to get into these colleges.

You can do B.Com (Hons) provided you had maths as a subject in 12th. But they will deduct some 2-5% from your percentage and the deducted percentage will be considered for the admission. This is about DU.

Hi Alka,
It is good if you have a first class, the better your percentage, the chances of getting admission is high in good universities. In case you don't manage to get a first class then you should really focus on getting super grades on your Bachelor's degree. But overall, if you are trying or planning to study abroad in near future then strengthen your academic profile as best as you can. Having said that, colleges have different admission requirements, some are more competitive than others. 75% is a widely accepted percentage by the top ones.
