The application fee for all courses are INR 1,000 + taxes. Students have to pay this fee as a last step of application. After application submissions, the university shortlists for the Personal Interview round.

The registrations for the course usually start after Class 12 results are out. Students can apply from May/June. However, the dates are in general and can change. Applications are available at the official university website. The application fee is INR 1,000 plus taxes.

Yes, there are multiple hostels provided by the university. Opting for hostel is optional for students. Those who want to apply for accommodation have to pay extra charges for it separately. Students have to submit hostel admission fee (INR 15,000) and refundable caution money (INR 10,000) at the time of hostel admissions.

The total fee is between INR 4.2 Lacs to INR 13.4 lakh. It also depends on the course. The fee structure includes many one-time refundable or annual components. Some one-time payable fee are registration fee (INR 10,000), admission fee (INR 60,000) and a prospectus & form fee of INR 1,500.

The eligibility is Class 12 with minimum 45% or 50% aggregate from a recognised university. Students from SC/ST/OBC - Non creamy layer category get a 5% relaxation on the minimum aggregate required. Applicants can see the specific eligibility for the course they want to opt for on the official university website.

The process for downloading the NEST response sheet PDF is mentioned below.

Yes, Mathematics is a mandatory subject as per eligibility criteria of BTech at GNDU, Amritsar. But, BTech in Food Technology and Textile Processing Technology eligibility criteria does not require Maths as a mandaotry subject.
These courses also accept admissions from candidates who have passed Class 12th in PCB stream.
