The IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) is an entrance exam conducted by the IISERs (Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research). It is specifically designed for students who want to get admission into the BS-MS Dual Degree Programme at IISER Pune and any of the seven IISERs.

IISER Pune does not offer a BSc course in the standard form. It offers a BS-MS course for the duration of five years, divided into ten semesters, and offered in full-time mode. For admissions to this dual-degree BS-MS course, candidates must have secured marks equal to or above the cutoff percentage declared by IISERs for their respective category (General/ OBC/ SC/ ST/ PwD).
