Though it is possible for students to study BSc Computer Science without mathematics, it may limit their outlook for the future. Calculus and linear algebra in maths are critical tools for computer Science and are being used in various fields of machine learning, artificial intelligence, and computer graphics. However, many universities offer BSc in Computer Science courses without maths. 

According to the JIPMER prospectus and official criteria, to qualify for admission to this course, a candidate must have:

• Completed a 3-year B.Sc. degree from a recognised university with Microbiology or Biotechnology as the main subject, along with Biology/Botany/Zoology as ancillary subjects.
• OR, a B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) from a recognised university

For B.Sc. in Zoology at Bishop Heber College, Tiruchirappalli, admissions are purely merit-based on Class 12 marks, with no entrance exam involved.There's no fixed cutoff published,it varies based on the strength of each year's applicant pool.To stand a strong chance, aim for at least 85–90% in your board exams, especially in biology and chemistry.

I recently got my bachelor's, and I have friends who attended all of the above-mentioned colleges, and with that, I'm telling you don't opt for any of them. Try to get into a tier 2 or tier 1 college. If you still are not able to do that, then go for St. Xavier's (Autonomous); don't opt for St. Xavier's University—it's not as great as it seems; the placement system is lucrative. And whatever you do, wherever you go, just for God's sake, don't go to Techno India.
