Yes, there is a placement cell in Central University of Himachal Pradesh (CUHP) to provide placements to M.Sc Bioinformatics students as well as internships. Though the Bioinformatics industry does not have major company names exhaustively listed, the overall placement report of the university shows that there have been 513 passed out students in total; with 102 of them being taken in with a median package of 2.75 LPA, in 2023 in the case of PG (2-year) courses. On the Centre for Computational Biology & Bioinformatics, the page also states about the Placements in Bioinformatics and this is an active place.

To represent in detail NCERT ideas of organic chemistry basics (Class 11, Chapter Organic Chemistry - some basic principles and methodologies), you can use a variety of superb online resources. Sites such as Khan Academy provide entire notes, video recorded lectures and solved examples which deconstructs hard topics such as nomenclature, isomerism, reaction mechanisms and the effect of electron displacement. Physics Wallah and Aakash also have detailed revision videos as part of the NCERT syllabus which goes into details about these base concepts. Going through the platforms will give you deeper insights than the textbook.

Many NITs offer integrated programme in chemistry but not in both M.Sc +PhD in chemistry course.

B.Sc. in Biomedical Science admission in Sunandan Divatia School of Science, NMIMS takes place largely on the basis of online entrance exam to be done by NMIMS. This exam checks your competence in English Language, General Awareness, Reasoning Skills, Social Awareness and Basics of Psychology. Minor stuff The exam is composed of 50 questions total worth 50 marks, with 60 min in duration and multiple-choice mode. Performance on this entrance test, together with your marks in 12 th Biology, and possibly further marks in Chemistry, constitute the merit list on which your admission is to be based on merit.

St. Xavier College Mumbai is the only institute in India, which offers a B.Sc. in Biotechnology and Computational Biology, a 3-year undergraduate course (which is currently changing to 4 years course from June 2025 under NEP) and a 2-year post graduate course by name MSc in Biotechnology. They do not only provide a combined B.Sc.+M.Sc. course in Biotechnology. One can even do B.Sc., then on successful qualification become a candidate of the M.Sc. program.

The best colleges to study Biotechnology after class 12th in India with a good salary include IITs (i.e. Delhi, Kharagpur, Roorkee), VIT (Vellore), Amity University, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Manipal Academy of Higher Education and JNU. Normal admissions are taken on the basis of passing 12 th in PCB and in many cases PCMB and a score of at least 50-60%. To be admitted to most of the best colleges, you need to attend such an entrance exam as JEE Main (B.Tech), CUET, BITSAT, or any university-specific exam, and then you have a counseling
