Yes, there is a placement cell in Central University of Himachal Pradesh (CUHP) to provide placements to M.Sc Bioinformatics students as well as internships. Though the Bioinformatics industry does not have major company names exhaustively listed, the overall placement report of the university shows that there have been 513 passed out students in total; with 102 of them being taken in with a median package of 2.75 LPA, in 2023 in the case of PG (2-year) courses.
