M.Sc. in Biotechnology and M.Tech. in Environmental Biotechnology is provided in Jadavpur University. Most colleges will consider students with B.Sc. in any Science with at least 55% marks and in many colleges will require a university conducted entrance (written test and viva-voce). Karur includes some Arts and Science colleges. Renowned ones are Government Arts College (Autonomous), Karur which has long academic history.
