No, it's not compulsory but you can still apply for CUET UG without maths:

  • You can appear for CUET UG with English, general test & commerce-related domain subjects (like business studies, accountancy, economics).
  • Courses you can apply for without maths in CUET UG are B.Com, BBA/BMS, B.A etc.
  • Courses you can't apply for without knowing math are some of BSc degrees, B.A and B.Com or BBA/BMS degrees which include math.
  • You should choose a university according to your preferred subjects.
  • Math is not a barrier for most general UG programs in cuet.

Yes, you can get a college by applying only for english & general test in cuet, but depends on course and university you want:

1.Well certain B.A degrees like B.A. in general, english or likewise non core subjects accept this type of tests .

2.Some universities accept english+general test for admission into B.A. programme or B.A. (hons.)in english or other humanities subject.

3.Some of the BBA/BMS/B.Com/intergrated law courses in private/deemed universites via cuet also consider english+general test.

4.You can also apply for some of vocational&interdisciplinary courses.

5.But for most of good degrees you are requireed to know maths, account

No, this is not necessary that only Science students can study the emerging courses abroad. Some courses, like brain-computer interface or blockchain, need tech knowledge, but others like AI ethics, digital psychology, or creative coding, are also open to students from arts, design, or social Science backgrounds.

If you're planning to do B.Sc at DAV College Chandigarh, the fee for general students is somewhere around INR 25000 to 35000 per year, depending on the subject. For SC, ST, or EWS students, the fee is usually less, and in many cases, there are scholarships or full waivers available. It really depends on your documents and income status. Best thing to do is check directly with the college when admissions open — they'll give you the exact numbers.

If you didn't have Maths or Applied Maths in your 12th class, then you can't choose it in CUET or apply for BMS or BBA at Delhi University. They clearly ask for it as a compulsory subject. Even if you try selecting it in the entrance, it won't count. One option is to take Maths later through something like NIOS and then try next year. But without having it in 12th, you won't be eligible for those courses at DU.

I'm preparing for CUET PG Life Sciences. I found some mock papers online, just searched around and picked a few that looked decent. Also, I tried solving last year's papers to get a feel for the pattern. I didn't buy any paid stuff, just used what's freely available. Honestly, even doing 2-3 mocks helped a lot with timing and confidence. Not perfect prep, but better than going in blind.

Hey! I checked this while applying too. For BA (Hons) Economics at Hindu College, you need to choose English or any other language, Maths or Applied Maths (this one is compulsory), and then two more domain subjects. It's better if at least one of those is related to economics like Economics, Business Studies, or Accountancy. I went with English, Maths, Economics, and Business Studies. Also, having Maths in 12th is a must for this course.
