No, NEET is not mentioned as a requirement for forensic Science colleges in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. But, aspirants must have studied Science in Class 12 with a PCB combination.

Yes, you can go for BSc in forensic Science from the University of Mumbai, which is a government college with less fees. DY Patil University in Navi Mumbai offers a BSc in Forensic Science course too, but it can cost around INR 16 Lakh. The eligibility for both government and private forensic colleges in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai is to pass Class 12 in Science in the PCB combination.

The fees for forensic Science education will depend. It differs for diploma, UG, and PG courses. For BSc from a premier government college like Institute of Forensic Science, it will cost around INR 2400. It has fewer seats, however. From a private institute like DY Patil University in Navi Mumbai, the fee for a BSc in Forensic Science, it will be INR 16.5 Lakh. If planning on Diploma in forensic Science subjects, you can check St. Xavier's College, which costs between ~ INR 15,500 and INR 27,500, depending on the duration.

Candidates need to pass Intermediate or Higher Secondary Examination with Mathematics or Computer Science or Computer Applications with a minimum of 50% aggregate to apply for BCA at College of Innovative Management and Science. Hence, Mathematics is not compulsory to apply for BCA.

Forensic Medicine is more like a branch within the broader domain of forensic science. It uses medical knowledge (like pathology and autopsy techniques) in order to derive findings from available data and evidence after crimes.

No, you cannot "stack" or combine scholarships. You can apply using either your Class XII Board marks or your CUET 2026 percentile, whichever gives you the highest percentage of scholarship. The university will award the single best scholarship you qualify for, provided seats are still available in the given category.

M.Sc. Forensic Science can be worth pursuing if you are planning a further doctorate, research or a career in academia. Other than that you can go for government exams like UPSC, PSC, and department recruitments like FSL, CBI, etc.
