The minimum specification for B.Sc in animation:
An i5 processor will handle many different types of artistic projects effectively.
At least 8 GB of RAM
A 17-inch laptop
programs like: CorelDRAW, Graphics Suite X5, Adobe Illustrator, Art Rage 3.5, AutoCAD and Xara Designer Pro.

I think you can only have the best opinion dear because it is your life, you only know what would be best for you.
As a tip, both medical and non-medical streams have lots of scope. Well, it's upto you whether you go with the medical or non-medical stream.

Don't go for B.Tech as today B.Tech is just a money making process for most of the colleges. After spending 4 years, you get nothing. If you want a job then do a job oriented course with SIPL training institute, they will ask you 12000 Rs but only pay 10k to them, you can choose other institutes too., according to your choice or simply do B.Sc. It is cost effective. I am saying this because I am a technical graduate and I faced the real problems after B.Tech.
