As per the D Y Patil School of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics admission policy, the BSc qualification requires candidates to be either 17 years of age or attain the age at the time of admission. Further, the students must have passed twelve years of school education with equivalent examination from a recognised board, with minimum 50% aggregate of all subjects. Physics, Chemistry and English are compulsory and the student should have cleared either Mathematics / Biology in class 12 examinations leading to an aggregate of 50% as mentioned above.
