The B.Sc (CS) course mainly focuses on the mathematical and theoretical foundations of computing, rather than teaching specific technologies that may quickly become outdated. The course prepares you for higher education.
*Education after B.Sc:
M.Sc, (provided that its recognised by the UGC or AIU) followed by an M.Tech, or an MCA are options open to you after your B.Sc in Computer Science. An M.Tech may be available to you after you sit for the GATE conducted by the IITs or the entrance examinations of individual universities offering the course.

If you interested in engineering then you should do B.Tech. If you are interested in any other competitive field then you should do B.Sc.

The computer science stream is really having a good scope in the upcoming years.
People who don't want to study computer science engineering or software engineering, they will opt for B.Sc, M.Sc computer Science or BCA and MCA.
All are almost same except engineering is a little higher when compared to the latter. Means a person with an engineering degree can be placed in a good institution with a UG degree itself.
So it is better if you study M.Sc computer science. It really has a great scope and you can get placed in any company irrespective of its domain as each and everything requires a computer Science graduate.

Hello Varsha,
B.Sc and BE, these two simply can not be compared. One is 3 years other is 4 years duration. Firmer is cheaper to complete while BE is very costly. B.Sc will also get you employment as BE.
Pursue that suits you.

Hello,
You have not mentioned anything about your place of residence like in which school your sister was studying, etc. But firstly seek guidance from her teachers as to why she failed and what needs to be done to improve her.
