It’s unlikely that a candidate with a 14,000 rank would secure a seat at Peerless College, considering the limited number of seats (10) and the competitive nature of the JENPAS UG examination. Candidates with higher ranks (e.g., top 1000) would likely have a better chance of securing seats at Peerless College, assuming the cutoff marks are relatively high.

Every college affiliated to Delhi University has its own cut-off list which the students have to qualify or cross using their CUET scores. Colleges can be grouped in three categories depending on the level of their cut-off marks; relatively low cuts, mid- range and relatively high cuts. A student scoring 559 out of 800 on CUET may be able to get into colleges with relatively lower cut-offs, such as Dyal Singh College, Zakir Husain College, and certain courses at Shri Ram College of Commerce. Hansraj College and Kamala Nehru College can also be possibilities for colleges with moderate cut-offs, based purely on the stream and course. But

To join a B.Sc Nursing programme in a government college in India, it is necessary to pass the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). They are mostly government colleges with high cutoffs ranging between 50-60% marks in NEET. But as per your NEET score of 182 marks which is approximately 40-45% and 77% in 12th boards, you are likely to get admission in most of the top government colleges provided you clear the cutoffs.

The cutoff for B.Sc. Nursing at the Institute of Child Health, Kolkata, for 2024 depends on the WBJEE JENPAS UG exam. Generally, for government colleges in West Bengal, the expected cutoff marks for admission into B.Sc. Nursing programs are:

130 marks for General/EWS/OBC-A, 120 marks for OBC-B, 110 marks for SC and 80 marks for ST.

These cutoffs are based on performance in the JENPAS UG exam, and candidates should have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with at least 45% aggregate?

In my opinion it does. Mathematics is used particularly in areas such as nutrition and food science. Home Science also involves practical applications of scientific principles, and these applications often require mathematical skills.

Also, financial planning, budgeting, and resource management, all of which require mathematical skills such as calculation of interest rates, depreciation, and profit margins.
