SEED

If you provide incorrect or false data, you may be disqualified from the SEED Admission Process. SID admission will have a counselling round, where all the information provided by the candidate will be verified. The candidate will be considered for admission only if the verification process is successful.

The Symbiosis institute of Design (SID) usually does not have an application correction windows. So, candidates must be careful when filling out the SEED 2025 application form. Note that if any incorrect information is furnished in the application, the candidate may be disqualified. The SID admission committee will check candidate information at the time of counseling and seat allotment. 

Note that if SID decides to give candidates an option to edit the application form for the next academic session, the same will be updated here. 

To fill out the SEED application form upload

1. Class 10 mark sheet
2. Class 12 mark sheet
3. Recent passport size photography
4. Signature
5. Photos ID proof
6. Caste certificate (if applicable).

When uploading the documents make sure they are as per the prescribed specifications and format. Also, only genuine information must be given.

To fill SEED 2026 form, candidates need to

1. Click on register

2. Fill in all the information

3. Upon registration, proceed to pay the application fee

4. Upload documents

5. Fill in personal, academic, and contact details

6. Submit the form.

The 1st seat allotment cum merit list of SEED 2025 (B.Des) will be declared tentatively in the 3rd week of April 2025. Candidates who are allocated seats will have to pay the seat-acceptance fee on or before the last date. The fee payment schedule will be released by the Symbiosis Institute of Design on its admission portal - sid.edu.in.

If the candidate fails to make the payment within the given deadline, the allotted seat will be canceled and will be allocated to the candidate next in the order of merit. Also, along with the payment of the fees, the candidate will also have to register for the allotted program. 

Candidates have to upload a digital portfolio as part of admission process at SID. Digital portfolio must be the candidate's best works and showcase his skills, passion, and interest in a variety of areas and techniques. When uploading the portfolio, the candidate must follow the specifications and guidelines issued by the admissions official.

The Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) will release the first merit list tentatively in the 1st week of April 2026. Candidates can check the same by visiting the official website, i.e. sid.edu.in.

To download the merit list, the candidate will have to log in to the result portal using their B.Des ID and password.

The merit list will include the merit rank of the candidate and the seat allotment status. Candidates who are included in the merit list will have to get registered for the programme and pay the fee on or before the last date.

The Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) will conduct mock tests for the SEED 2026 exam on January 07, 2026. The mock tests will be hosted online at the SID admission portal - sid.edu.in. 

To take the mock tests, you need to click on the mock tests link, while opened a log-in window. Enter the log-in details to start the mock test.
