The application form for SEED 2026 will open in online mode at sid.edu.in. Hard copies of the application form will not be available.
Also, if the candidate somehow downloads the online application form, fills it, and then sends it to the admission office, such application will also not be accepted.
So, the form will has to be mandatorily filled online.
To fill out the form, go to the SID website, click on the application link, and then complete the process.
Note that as part of the application process, you will also have to pay an application fee.

The SEED 2026 application form was open till December 28, 2025 for B.Des. Applications had to be filled out online at SID official website - sid.edu.in. The detailed application schedule was released by the institute on its admission portal.

The Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) released the first merit list in the last week of April 2026. Candidates can check the same by visiting the official website: sid.edu.in.
To download the merit list, the candidate will have to log in to the result portal using their B.Des ID and password.
The merit list will include the merit rank of the candidate and the seat allotment status. Candidates who are included in the merit list will have to get registered for the programme.

The application form of SEED 2026 is open for the M.Des program. The application form has to be submitted online at sid.edu.in (application link also given on this page).
As part of the application filling process, the candidate has to get registered, fill in the form, upload documents, and pay the application fee. The SID admission registration fee is Rs. 3250/- (Rs. 2250 for SEED & Rs. 1000 for SID)

The Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) has launched a Master of Design (M. Des) in the field of User Experience Design. The duration of the programme is two years. The degree is awarded by the Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Pune.

Candidate seeking admission to the M.Des programme need to meet the following criteria:
Qualifying exam:
Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 4-year duration in any specialization, after 10+2 or equivalent a recognised institute.
OR
Full-time Diploma of minimum 4-year duration in Design, Fine Arts, Applied Arts, or Architecture, after 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised institute.
Minimum marks:
The candidate must have secured a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for SC and ST categories).

Candidates who are included in the waiting list will be considered for admission only if there are any vacancies. The seat allotment for waiting list candidates will be conducted if there are any vacant seats left.
The allotment of seats in this case will be based on SEED 2026 merit ranks.

SEED Portfolio Review and Personal Interaction (PRPI) will be conducted in two phases. Phase I will be conducted in March 2026. Phase 2 will be conducted in April 2026. Candidates will be notified for the next phase in which they have to appear.
