This does not matters a lot as BITS Pilani is one of the best college of India and this college is located in Pilani which is an small village of Rajasthan but for joining BITS student never think about remote or urban city. JEE is the tough exam in which student really prepare hard to crack the exam and the syllabus prepared by the board cover all the portion of class 11th and 12th but BITSAT exam is also one of the tough exam in which one has to score more than 300 marks in the exam for getting admission in BITS Pilani. In BITSAT exam there is a more portion which is english and logic reasoning so this portion needs some more attention in which if a student really practices this problem then he or she can solve all most all problem correctly.
These two part are bonus point if someone prepared all other portion perfectly. After completing the chapter try to practice through the previous year question and try to solve the problem before time and if any question left unsolved then try to overcome these question so that in exam you can solve the question which gives you confidence. No extra work just practice previous year question and the two more portions english and logical reasoning question.

Well, when you are talking about Symbiosis it is a well-renowned institute in the country which caters to various courses including engineering, management, and science.
Talking about mechanical engineering it is one of the finest institutes to study in and one can expect to be on the top after completing the degree from Symbiosis. Well, a mechanical branch is the top most branch of engineering with the complex handling of the machine automatically developed the design and research and development in the filled with machine mostly.
So if you are from Symbiosis then you can be a top getter in the career.
The area in the career is:-Design, R&D, production, manufacturing etc.
The companies visiting the campus are:-TATA, Indian Navy, Nissan, ISGEC, Bombardier, Maruti Suzuki for core branch and HDFC TCS for support activity.
The minimum package can range from Rs 3.5 lakh per annum and highest can be around Rs 7 lakh offered rarely to a mechanical student.

BE placements from Jadavpur university are far better as compared to other institutions of Bengal.
There is a large scope for civil engineers in both corporate as well as the North East India, where Jadavpur university students find a path to do better in future.
Talking about the average placements from the university, it is been around Rs 6.5 lakh per annum, the highest being Rs 15 lakh and lowest being Rs 3 lakh.
Since there are many companies visiting for non-civil fields then also civil students participating and getting selected are contributing to high placement percentage.
Though overall, university is very nice, but one should get more information about the locality and culture of the university before taking admission as it may not suit the north Indian as told to me by one of my seniors.
Also, the admission process is through West Bengal JEE conducted every year where one has to perform the best for getting into a civil branch of the most elite institution of Bengal.
