The department of Law at the Maharshi Daya Nand University, Haryana has a very good review amongst the students for its quality education and well experienced faculty. They have a dedicated placement cell working for good career opportunities to its students.
The Career Counseling and Placement Cell helps the students in their educational and vocational planning. I can suggest you 2 names from DU colleges, for BA Political Science. First preference would be Hindu College and then Ramjas College.
You get quality education in both these colleges. These are very different as compared to the other colleges around. You must know that you beed to obtain good marks in 12th exams.
Delhi University is the most preferred choice of today's youth who want to pursue a UG course in Political Science because of the different quality of education provided there. SET is the entrance exam for Law courses in Symbiosis University. I do not think that there are books available in the market that deal specifically with SET. However, you can use the books available for CLAT while you are preparing for SET. If you have enrolled yourself in any coaching institute, the material provided by that coaching institute would be sufficient. If you go through the entire material, it would be more than enough. Apart from that, you can use books like Wren and Martin and Word Power Made Easy for English, Objective Lucent for GK, MK Pandey to cover both verbal as well as non-verbal reasoning. For legal, you can

First of all, I think the fact that IMS Law College is comparatively new and a private college gives an edge to Faculty of law, Allahabad University which is a centralised government university. Now, let us discuss pros and cons of both colleges. Pros of Faculty of law, Allahabad University are the faculty and alumni basis which includes many chief justice of India and prominent lawyers. Another pro is the fact that you can intern with some phenomenally well lawyer in Allahabad high court and if you are going for litigation, it can be a good choice. However, the placements of Allahabad University are not really encouraging since it

Since BTC is a two year regular course, you may look for distance courses in any of the subjects you wish to specialize in like B.A/M.A mathematics, psychology, education etc. You may also pursue online courses related to education, education management, education technology etc from portals like coursera.org, EdX. Another option is ignou that offers certificate courses related to psychology, child development, counselling, blended learning, curriculum designing, policy making, subject specific certificate courses are also available.
