First you need to get an affiliated graduation degree or a certification (Diploma) for becoming an event planner from a highly committed company. For becoming an event planner you need to pursue event management course too. Salary package is solely depends on the caliber and the recognition of you and the company. Starting salary would be from 28k to 30k but as you gain experience it will increase gradually with excellent pay and travel packages for sure.
