Civil Engineering is much broader than Architecture and deals with the design, planning, and construction of buildings, roads, bridges, dams, tunnels, and other infrastructure projects. The students who are admitted from DCET are admitted directly to third semester as lateral entry students from third semester on wards their subject syllabus will be same as those regular students who are admitted to first semester from CET examination. B.Arch academic wise, excellently designed course structure is ideal but, I feel there's more of theoretical approach in the preference to full exposure to creativity as compared to any other proper architecture university. Faculty members are good, all are very skilled in their specific subject. Infrastructure is average as compared to other colleges (especially private) offering B.Arch. Placements don't take place for architecture often, 2-3 companies come for the placement. Extracurricular exposure is less in comparison to some other architecture colleges, as I have seen in SPA-Delhi. They opt for innovative and creative activities
