Hi,
I think more than the scope, the interest of individual matters for success in a particular area of law. Let's say, for example, I am interested in information technology law but I pursue consumer law after my law school. I would not be working with that zeal or enthusiasm as compared to IT law. Therefore, according to me, the interest mattes more than the scope as you can make money under any area of law and practice.
But coming to the question, most of the areas of law are interlinked. Which one has a better scope? I think both of these are too diverse fields and have a lot of subject matters within. Both information technology and consumer law are governed by specific legislation. But surely, in the era of information technology I think information technology law has better scope in the future. It is because of the fact that with growing technology, the offenses and penalties would be increased and would surely be one of the most interesting areas of law.

Let's say, for example, I am interested in Taxation Law but I I pursue criminal law after my law school. I would not be working with that zeal or enthusiasm as compared to taxation law. Therefore, according to me, the interest mattes more than the scope as you can make money under any area of law and practice.
But coming to the question, most of the areas of law are interlinked. Let's say, avoiding taxes or not disclosing proper income would be a criminal offense. So, apart from the knowledge of tax law, you would also need to know fundamentals of criminal law in order to help out your client. There are several law firms which specialize in either of these. So, if you are not looking for independent practice, you can join these. But the scope of criminal law is generally wider than tax law considering each area of law has some intersection with the criminal law in some form or the other.

Hard work perseverance while you do your LLB degree. Being active with extracurricular activity like Moot Court, participating in debate society, attending various seminars, attending legal workshop, being active with your legal aid programme within college, makes you more open as a person and you attain qualities like your communication skills, which is a must in a lawyer. Secondly, you must be good with your law, but one can't ignore the academics. Doing lots of internship with your law degree to know practical knowledge of law is best. Being in above frame, nobody can stop you from achieving success or getting good placement in any law firm or corporate firm.

Well, not many institute offer BCA LLB course.
You get to have limited options for the course, as none of the NLUs or top colleges offer this course.
However, the Tamil Nadu Dr. BR Ambedkar Law University offers the course which among others is available for you.
Apart from this University, no other institute offer this course owing to less preference by students and also little belongingness of the courses.
Also, there is not much scope for the course as of now, as much viable options are available when it comes to integrated 5-year LLB courses.
Also, when none of the NLUs offer this course and makes it less useful and less preferred.
Also, only one such good institute offers the course and makes it clear that it is not much viable and not preferred.
But, if one wants to pursue it you have Tamil Nadu Dr. BR Ambedkar Law University with you.

Well, the top most college for BSW LLB in India is Gujarat National Law University.
GNLU offers honors degree in law along with BSW, and it is the one of its kind in India.
Also, there are NLUs, but they do not offer this course.
One must opt for GNLU, if he or she wants to go for BSW LLB, as many of CLAT aspirants have chosen it for this combo.
Also, there have been many candidates having ranks in top 50s and 100s, but due to this course the candidates have opted for GNLU, as none of the NLU offers Bachelors in social work along with LLb. Thus, it is considered the best for this field.
Also, the university has a reputation of its kind including infrastructure faculties as well as the placements.
Moreover, BSW is a much preferred course at the university and it has been taken up by a lot of students.
If you look for the best, then GNLU is the option for you.

Well, an M.Phil in law or a Ph.D in law is an equivalent course in India, which is offered by many NLUs and other law colleges.
You need to have a Master in law or rather a doctorate in any field of law.
Well there are lots of job opportunities. You also have an option for government job, as you are eligible to take up any exam, such as judiciary and civil services and, also you get preferences in other placements by law firms and corporate houses, as well as by the PSUs owing to your qualifications.
Also, UGC NET is considered equivalent to your M.Phil in law sometimes. You get to be directly appointed as a professor of law at any law school.
Also, you are eligible for every government entrance exam including judiciary and UPSC.
Moreover, you may apply for jobs at RBI as grade 2 officers.
Also, you get options to be an expert and may get nominated for any committe for legal disposals.
Also, you have an option for independent practice in law, wherein you may get nominated as a government counsel after few years.

Well, you may have a distance learning course along with a regular graduation, as the distance course in law anyways is not recognized as such and it serves only on paper and, thus makes no difference as such.
Also, the requirements for a distance course in law need to be seen before enrolling, as sometimes you are not allowed to take a regular course simultaneously.
Generally, you may pursue one, but keep in mind that it is not going to fetch you anything. While in India, as the Bar Council of India doesn't recognize it and so does the UGC, therefore it is of no use, when it does not have any practical implications for you.
So, I would advise you to pursue a regular course in law, if you want any results out of it.
Else, if you just want it as an additional accolade, you may go ahead.
Also, do check the eligibility before enrolling in any of the colleges for distance learning in law.

Well, again distance learning program would get you a qualification for namesake, as that degree or Diploma doesn't have any practical implications. The Bar Council of India does not recognize it and so do the UGC doesn't not consider it at par with regular or even private courses.
The distance learning is available through many institutions in India, but that won't serve you results in real.
Also, you would not be treated as a law graduate for purpose of any civil services exams or government exams, unless you have another degree which is regular and recognized by UGC.
So, you do not have options in real after pursuing a distance learning programme in law and most importantly you can't even practice, as that degree is just a qualification on paper
So, for better future and career prospective I would advise you to take up a regular law course at any institute recognized by UGC.
