Candidates can check their seat allotment result by logging in with their application number and password. They are offered admissions into the IITs, NITs, IIITs and GFTIs on the basis of their JEE Main and JEE Advanced results. There are 7 rounds for JoSAA 2020 Seat Allotment. Thereafter, candidates can either freeze, float or slide their allotted seat. Almost certainly. Since the government has augmented the seats in IITs, NITs & GFTIs by 10%, to accomodate the new reservations for economically weaker sections. However there is a chance that there may be a huge reshuffle in JEE Advance examination & many who failed to perform great in JEE Mains may do well in JEE Advance, leaving the high ranking JEE Mains students stranded to occupy seats in NITs & Gift. In my opinion even many autonomous government. /private colleges are now performing at par with NITs, hence there is no point in jumping in to the rat race. Thanks and good luck!

This year GITAM has introduced scholarship upto 100% for those secure good ranks in JEE Mains or Andhra Pradesh or Telangana EAMCET. Students are placed in very good companies. The CET score doesn't tell you much. It just tells you how well you scored in the test. But that's not what the colleges require. What colleges ask for is your CET rank, which basically tells them how well you performed amongst others. You are given a rank based on the combined score of the CET test and board marks (equal weightage). So just a good score in CET is not sufficient. Your board marks also count. Moreover the difficulty of the CET paper and quality of students who write the exam differ each year. The board marks differ from student to student. So you can't generalise a good score. I really don't have an idea on this matter. The only reason why Im answering this is because I was requested to. Overall, the entrance exams of UoH are designed in a way to weed out mediocre to ignorant students. Only the above average students, who are generally the B grade, to studious students stand a chance to get into this university. I am relating the score cut off to my own case to answer the second question. Overall I answered more than 70 questions and that was when I was called for the interview. The people who got only 50% of the paper were gladly ignored for the second round.
