No, Bodoland University is not as good as SMIT Sikkim. Sikkim Manipal University (SMIT) and Bodoland University differ noticeably in a number of areas. Bodoland University is criticised for its low employment rate, which forces students to look for employment on their own. The hostels have poor facilities, no Wi-Fi, and problems with food quality and hygiene. Exam difficulties and language differences are reported, despite the positive perception of faculty members.However, SMIT has a better placement history; in 2022, the median package increase was 38% higher than in 2021. SMIT, in my years, was a good experience. I have learnt a lot in this college.
Placements: In the college there is100% placement in CSE Branch. Top recruiting companies are Dell, Microsoft, Cognizant, Providence, Ericson, Nomura Fintech, etc. Top roles offered are in software development, software testing, HR, UI/UX designer, etc. The highest package offered is of INR 25 LPA and the lowest package is of INR 4 LPA. 95% of the students got internships as well.

You can check it on their official website. According to my survey, Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology will announce the SMIT 2023 B.Tech cutoff after all rounds of counselling are completed. Because the counselling rounds for different categories of admission will be held individually, the SMIT B.Tech cutoff marks 2023 will also be accessible separately. Students will be able to check the cutoff for SMIT 2023 counselling here, as well as the timetable for all rounds of counselling.

Admission to SMIT Sikkim 2025 is based on merit and entrance exam scores. The SMET test scores are used to determine admission to most programmes at SMIT Sikkim. Admission to SMIT College for B.Tech is based on the JEE/MET/SMIT Online Test.
