The selection process for SWCE courses can vary from one college to another but usually for UG courses, you have to get at least 50 to 60% marks in Class 12 and clear relevant entrance exams with good marks. The SWCE course is mostly offered at the PG level as a specialisation under Agricultural Engg.
A majority of the colleges admit students on the basis of entrance exam marks like GATE, ICAR AIEEA, CUET PG, etc. So, you should get excellent marks in the entrance exams to get a good college for the course. Rest, you can always go to the college website to see if they have any further requirements for giving admission.

You can follow the general admission guidelines that start with meeting the eligibility criteria for SWCE courses at your desired colleges. You then have to give entrance exams and secure decent marks to get a seat at a good college. Next thing is to fill out the college application forms before the last date.
After the exam results are out, you must apply for the college counselling process where you will be given a seat according to your rank and score in the entrance test. After seat allotment, you have to go to the college and pay the SWCE course fee after which your admission will be confirmed.
