South Korea is generally considered, very safe, for Indian students. The locals have a warm and welcoming culture, with similarities to the Indian culture, itself.  There can occassionally be a few minsunderstandings, but any serious form of discrimination, is rare.  Locations like Seoul, Busan and Daejeon, are all home to growing Indian student communities.
