The SSC CGL Tier 1 test consists of 4 sections: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension. All these sections have 50 questions. Each question is for 2 marks. In total, the test is to be completed in 60 minutes, and the maximum score would be 200. Negative marking is applicable at every wrong answer, and for that, 0.5 marks are deducted. Unattempted questions are not deduced. The Tier 1 exam is computer-based, and the candidate should score well in all areas of the test to qualify to take the Tier 2 exam.

SSC CGL (Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level) examination center is allocated based on the preference that the candidates make while applying. While submitting the application form, the candidate has to choose his or her preferred examination center from a list of available locations. Good strategies and daily study programs are quite vital for preparing oneself for examinations like SSC CGL and CHSL.
However, being a B.Sc student, sometimes it would not be bad to give a little bit of time to academics while preparing for competitive exams.
The very first top thing that you have to do in preparing said examination is go through patterns and sections like General Intelligence, Reasoning, General Awareness, and Quantitative Aptitude accompanied by English Language. UGC NET exam pattern 2024 is prescribed by the National Testing Agency (NTA). According to the exam pattern, the UGC NET 2024 exam comprises two papers- Paper 1 and Paper 2. The time duration of the UGC NET exam is 3 hours (180 minutes). Both papers contain objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs). A total of 150 questions are given to the candidates combining paper 1 and paper 2. UGC NET exam does not have a negative marking scheme. The candidates are awarded for correct answers but no mark deductions are made for incorrect answers.
