Educational Qualification
General Requirement: Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree from a recognised university or institution.
Post-Specific Requirements:
Junior Statistical Officer (JSO): Bachelor's degree with at least 60% in Mathematics at the 12th grade level or Statistics as one of the subjects in graduation.
Statistical Investigator Grade-II: Graduation with Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics as a compulsory or elective subject.

The CGL online applications were started on June 9, 2025. The candidates must read the SSC notification to apply online for the exam.
- Visit at ssc.gov.in.
- Login with the OTR credentials.
- Fill the CGL 2025 application form on ssc.gov.in.
- Pay the application fee (as mentioned in the notification).
- Submit the SSC CGL online application form.
The last date for the SSC CGL applications was July 4.

The Commission released the official SSC CGL 2025 notification on June 9, 2025. The candidates should note that the SSC CGL online applications are also activated with the release of official notification. The candidates are required to apply online for the SSC CGL. The Staff Selection Commission activated the SSC CGL 2025 online application link with the release of official notification at ssc.gov.in. The candidates are advised to read and understand the eligibility conditions and the important dates mentioned in the official SSC CGL notification 2025. The candidates will be required to check their eligibility and fill out the SSC CGL online applications on the official website - ssc.gov.in.
The last date to apply online for the SSC CGL 2025 was July 4, 2025. The SSC CGL 2025 application correction facility was available till July 11, 2025.

To prepare for the GK/GS section for the SSC CGL, you have the option of either going for offline or online coaching. If you choose offline coaching, you can choose it according to your convenience and affordability. If you are going for online coaching, you can go for any online teaching platforms like Utkarsh, Testbook, etc. It totally depends on your preference which platform you are choosing for. You can also use free study material available on YouTube, which is very effective. Although I do not have enough experience in this field, I cannot suggest any best platform to you. The Staff Selection Commission is expected to release the new SSC exam calendar on its official website - ssc.gov.in. The Commission will conduct the SSC CGL Tier 1 exam 2025 in September/October 2025. The Commission is expected to release the exact exam dates soon.
The candidates will get the SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam Analysis 2025 with the student reaction video after the first shift of exam.

The Staff Selection Commission releases the SSC CGL Tier 1 cutoff with the result notice. The Commission is expected to conduct the SSC CGL 2025 Tier 1 exam in September/October. The Commission will release the tentative answer key after the exam. The Commission usually takes a month to declare the SSC CGL Result.
The SSC CGL Tier 1 Cutoff 2025 is expected to be released in November 2025.
