Educational Qualification

General Requirement: Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree from a recognised university or institution.

Post-Specific Requirements:

Junior Statistical Officer (JSO): Bachelor's degree with at least 60% in Mathematics at the 12th grade level or Statistics as one of the subjects in graduation.

Statistical Investigator Grade-II: Graduation with Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics as a compulsory or elective subject.

Research Assistant in National Human Rights Commission: Bachelor's degree with at least one year of research experience in a recognised university or institution.

2. Age Limit
The minimum age limit is 18 years, and the maximum age limit is 32 years as of the cut-off date specified by SSC.

Age relaxations are applicable for reserved categories as per government norms.

3. Nationality/Citizenship

Candidates must be Indian citizens, or subjects of Nepal or Bhutan, or Tibetan refugees who came to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Individuals of Indian origin who migrated from specific countries to permanently settle in India are also eligible.

4. Physical Standards

Some posts may require specific physical standards, which will be detailed in the official notification.

Login with the OTR credentials

• Fill Out the SSC CGL 2025 application form
• Upload the Documents
• Review the Application Details
• Pay the SSC CGL Application Fee
• Submit the SSC CGL 2025 application

The last date to apply online for the SSC CGL 2025 application form was July 4, 2025.

To prepare for the GK/GS section for the SSC CGL, you have the option of either going for offline or online coaching. If you choose offline coaching, you can choose it according to your convenience and affordability. If you are going for online coaching, you can go for any online teaching platforms like Utkarsh, Testbook, etc. It totally depends on your preference which platform you are choosing for. You can also use free study material available on YouTube, which is very effective. Although I do not have enough experience in this field, I cannot suggest any best platform to you. Although it is advised to focus on self-study and solving previous year's papers also.
