SSC JE Syllabus

SSC JE exam is the Staff selection exam for recruiting candidates for the post of government. There are two paper which are there in SSC JE exam. The syllabus of paper I includes reasoning, general awareness, general engineering, which includes questions related to geography, general polity, indidan constitution, problem solving, history, structural engineering, enviornmental science. Paper II is usually subject based and The syllabus for paper II includes civil engineering that includes soil mechanics, transport engineering, water resource engineering, enviornmental engineering, etc. It also includes mechanical engineering, and electrical engineering which includes topic such as refrigeration and air conditioning, electrical and electronics measurement. 

The General Intelligence and Reasoning section of the SSC JE exam is designed to test a candidate's ability to think logically and solve problems. Here are some important topics that you should focus on while preparing for the exam:

1. Verbal Reasoning: This includes topics such as analogies, coding-decoding, series completion, syllogisms, and blood relations
2. Non-Verbal Reasoning: This includes topics such as spatial visualization, spatial orientation, figural classification, and pattern recognition
3. Logical Reasoning: This includes topics such as statement and conclusion, statement and argument, and logical problems
4. Number Series: This includes topics such as completing the series, finding the missing number, and identifying the wrong number in a series
5. Alphabet and Word Series: This includes topics such as completing the series, finding the missing letter or word, and identifying the wrong letter or word in a series
6. Data Sufficiency: This includes topics such as analyzing the given information and determining whether it is sufficient to answer the question
7. Directions: This includes topics such as finding the direction or distance between two points based on the given information.
