DEVS 412 internship offered by St. Francis Xavier University provides its students with in-depth practical learning and experience in a social change context. The DEVS 412 internship mainly takes place during the spring and summer terms. To better understand, reflect, and deepen the learning on the impact of social change and development the students write reflective papers. During the fall, the students attend webinars and complete assignments exploring themes such as social justice, and development studies and indulge in creating podcasts, oral presentations, and a reflective paper.
