The MS in Data Science programme consists of 36 credits (12 courses), including 10 core courses and 2 electives. Students are required to finish their MS programme in three to four semesters.
Students will receive intensive training in Data Science, covering areas such as statistical analysis, big data analysis/management, and computing principles.
This programme is given jointly by the Departments of Applied Mathematics and Statistics (AMS) and Computer Science (CS), both of which are part of the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences.

It has a vision to encourage intercultural understanding by selecting amongst first-year international students.
