A minimum grade point average of 3.0 in previous coursework. A GPA below 3.0 may, in extreme circumstances, be taken into consideration for "conditional admission" to the College of Business. Conditionally admitted students who wish to continue in the programme must earn a 3.0 GPA during their first semester.  

Calculus for three credit. The successful completion of a 3-credit calculus course with a grade of "C" or above must be documented by the applicant. Based on their college degree, professional experience, and desired career path, applicants may ask for a waiver.

The average duration of an MBA at SBU is around 36 to 48 credits, which vary depedning on whether one goes for either full-time or part-time.
Classes are available to be taken in the fall and spring semesters, and in the form of three-week winter term and two six-week summer sessions.
For full-time students, the completion period normally lasts 12 to 18 months.

The Computer Science major provides professional education to prepare students for graduate school or a career in the Computing field. Students learn the concepts and abilities required to develop, program, and apply computer systems, as well as the theoretical and mathematical basis of Computer Science. Students will be able to develop, implement, and assess a computer-based system, process, component, or programme to suit specified needs.
