Yes, you can change your major at the University of Pennsylvania, however, the ease of changing your major depends on the school within the university, you wish to switch to.

Changing a major at the College of Arts & Sciences (CAS) is relatively straightforward, however, doing so at a different school say the Wharton School is far more competitive & requires better academic requirements from students.

Guessing the answers on the ACT exam is not encouraged or recommended by the testing authorities as this is not an effective approach. However, you can make educated guesses if required; here's how:

  1. Read your question thoroughly and skim through the passage.
  2. Eliminate the wrong answer choices first based on your quick analysis of the paragraph and question.
  3. Prioritise answering the line-based questions first as they provide opportunities to be direct on your answering approach without taking much of your time.
  4. Choose the answer that is most supported by the passage.

It is fast but not "hard" like a puzzle. The biggest challenge is time pressure. You must answer 40 questions in just 35 minutes. The questions are usually straightforward but you don't have time to read slowly. You must skim to finish on time.
