D'Youville University is well suited for foreign (international) students who specialize in health care, business and social sciences. Located in Buffalo, NY the campus is very diverse and welcoming with never overcrowded classes with excellent academic services besides. Yes, the University of Europe for Applied Sciences permits international students to work while studying. International students must have a valid resident permit. International students can work while studying with some restriction on working hours. International students can work in both part-time and full-time during their semester holidays. EU students are permitted to work up to 20 hours per week during the academic year and up to 40 hours during the vacations. Moreover, non-EU students can work up to 120 full days or 240 half days during their semesters.

Yes, living as part of RISD accommodation is mandatory for all first & second-year students, unless a student qualifies for a residency waiver. After the first two years, the students have the flexibility of living off-campus if they wish to. 

However, it must be noted that if a student signs a housing & dining license for the 3rd or 4th year, then they have to stay as part of on-campus facilities, as there's no option to move in the middle of an academic year.
