For the year 2026, University of Manchester QS ranking is #35 in the 'World University' category which is a decline of 1 spot from the last year as the ranking for 2025 was #34. The rankings have been provided by THE (Times Higher Education) since the year 2004. The creation of these rankings is done to know and evaluate the university's performance on the global stage and provide a comprehensive ranking report for the students to make an informed higher education decision.
For the year 2025, University of Manchester is ranked at #53 which is a decline of 2 spots, from the last year ranking of #51. These rankings for this university are fluctuating since 2023: from rank #54 in 2023 to #51 in 2024 to #53 in 2025.

ARWU, short for Academic Ranking of the World Universities also known as Shanghai Ranking is known as one of the best ranking bodies in the world. It is one of the three most influential rankings of the world alongside Times Higher Education World University Rankings and QS World University Rankings.
