Applicants must provide official transcripts of all secondary or university academic work through the most recent grading period. If the academic credentials are not written in English, they must be translated into English by an approved translator before submission. Apart from this, the following documents are required during the application:

PG Requirements:

• An undergraduate degree from a regionally accredited institution, college, or university, or equivalent
• Three letters of recommendation
• Essay
• Resume
• Official transcripts
• English language requirements
• Letter of recommendation
• GRE scores
• SOP (program-specific)
• Essay/Personal statement (program-specific)

UG Requirements:

• Proof of High school/ secondary school completion
• Transcripts from all previous secondary/ high school or university
• English language requirements

In addition to submitting all required documentation, applicants must meet the University of Maine's fundamental eligibility standards. The following UMaine application procedure must be followed by international students:
Go to portals: While postgraduate applicants can only apply via the institution's official portal, undergraduate students can apply using the Common App or university portal.
Examine the programs: Examine all of the graduate and undergraduate programs available, and confirm the required paperwork and eligibility for the programs of interest.
Document submission: After completing the eligibility requirements, students must turn in a few required documents, which can change depending on the program. English language proficiency, a letter of recommendation, an essay, a CV, and an academic transcript are some of the required materials.

Application fee: For UG and PG applications, students must pay an application fee of USD 50 (INR 4.2K) and USD 65 (INR 5.5K), respectively.
Wait for an offer letter: After submitting an application, the applicant must wait for a minimum of three weeks before receiving an acceptance letter from the university.
Pay tuition and apply for a visa: Students must pay the tuition and apply for a visa as soon as they receive confirmation to be admitted on time.
