In order to secure an admission in Mississippi College, all overseas applicants require competitive grades, relevant documents and English proficiency exam scores. The general requirements common to all degrees are:
- A baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university;
- A 2.5 undergraduate grade point average (exceptions: MSCP, EDS, Ed.D.);
- An English language proficiency score (IELTS/TOEFL/PTE);
- An appropriate undergraduate foundation in major courses for the degree pursued; and
- Appropriate standardized test score (s).

Yes, the student residences are gender segregated with male and female residents living separately.
- Yugo Dubailand: All apartments are segregated, there are separate rooms for male and female students.
- DSOA University Residences: Buildings are gender segregated and specific building allocations are based on student enrolment and availability.

Once the application form is filled out and submitted with all the necessary documents. Applicants are required to pay an application fee for processing their application form. The application fee at the University of Tampa for international students is USD 40 (INR 3,321). This is a non-refundable fee and international students can pay the application fee online via their credit card.
