Bachelor's degree programmes in Switzerland are very competitive and taught in the German language. You must also take the IELTS. Different universities and departments have different admission requirements. You have to visit the websites for details. Check high ranked universities like ETH Zurich, Ecole Polytechnique Fdrale de Lausanne and the University of Zurich to name a few.

The very first requirement is you must receive the admission offer letter from the Swiss university. Only after you have the offer letter, you can apply for the student visa. You have to go the embassy located in India. You may read this for the entire process here, necessary emails are also given here:

Tuition fee can be from Rs. 15 lakhs to Rs. 30 lakhs a year. University of Lausanne, University of St.Gallen and University of Bern are some of the good ones.

You are eligible to work part time, while studying. However, the rules are little different in Switzerland. You are permitted to accept part-time employment for a maximum of 15 hours per week only after residing in Switzerland for a minimum of 6 months.
In these 6 months, you must show progress and consistency in your studies as well. Your university will help you with gaining access to jobs.

You should plan an average budget of around 1,000 and 1,400 EUR/month to pay for: housing, food, transportation, tuition, supplies and a few leisure activities.
