Yes, Symbiosis Skills and Professional University (SSPU) offers lateral entry to students who have completed two years of a Diploma in Engineering and Technology from a recognised university or institution. Lateral entry students are admitted directly to the second year of the B.Tech. programme at SSPU.

To be eligible for lateral entry at SSPU, students must have a minimum of 50% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved categories) in their Diploma examination.

Candidates who have qualified JEE Main/ MHT CET/ CUET/ SAT India/ SSPU Entrance Test/ PERA CET need to sumit their applications for the BTech course. Additionally, aspirants must complete Class 12 with relevant subjects with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for the reserved category with Maharashtra domicile) to apply for BTech course. Yes, BTech is a four-year course offered at the UG level. The university offers BTech in six specialisations, namely Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Automobile Engineering, Computer Science & IT (Cybersecurity), Construction Engineering & Management, Mechatronics and Solar & Alternate Energy. Candidates who have completed Class 12 can apply for the BTech course.
