The placement department of the college takes the initiative to explore new career avenues for graduates and postgraduates through visits to new companies. Every year on-campus and off-campus recruitments are organised. The CMS College Coimbatore BCom placement process is listed below:

  • The selection starts with a pre-placement talk.
  • Actual selection process starts including written test, group discussions, technical interview and HR round.
  • In addition to the above process, the college also arranges part-time jobs, project work, and internships in companies in and around Coimbatore.

There is no such requirements of entrance exams for BCom at CMS Coimbatore. As per the present policy of college, candidates seeking admission in undergraduate (UG) programmes BCom must have passed Class 12 from a recognised board of education and equivalent examinations.

The list mentioned below of documents are same for all UG courses available at CMS College Coimbatore, the documents required for physical verification for BCom are as follows:

  • SSLC certificate
  • Class 10 Certificate
  • Class 12 Certificate
  • Transfer certificate
  • Migration certificate for other board (except Tamil Nadu board)
  • Conduct certificate from the head of the institution where the candidate studied last
  • Copy of community certificate
  • Genuine certificate from concerned district education board other than Tamil Nadu and Kerala
  • Eligibility certificate (AIU) for overseas if necessary
  • 2 Attested copies each of all the above certificates

No, students cannot join BCom at CMS College of Science and Commerce directly. The admission to the BCom at CMS Coimbatore is purely based on merit. The merit will be released by the college on the basis of Class 12 score. Candidate need to apply online or offline through the official website of CMS College and submit the required documents and fees. The seat allotment will be done according to the merit list. Additionally, CMS College Coimbatore follows rules of reservation of the Government of Tamil Nadu and Bharathiar University.
